The Blues 50

I look forward to each spring when spectacular iris gardens bloom. These flowers gracefully reveal intricate details and beautiful colors. I was intrigued by the graphic nature of their stems and leaves captured in this abstract photograph. By shifting the hues in the image, I portrayed their natural elegance with the interplay of light transforming the ordinary into an extraordinary display of beauty. -Lauren Karp
