Mangrove Magic 33

I was struck by the beauty of intertwined branches in a mangrove forest along the water’s edge in Costa Rica. The tangled limbs created intricate patterns with unique shapes, lines and textures which caught my attention for the subject of this abstract photo. As a part of my creative process, I enhanced this image by adding varying shades of purple representing the unexpected colors of this jungle paradise.-Lauren Karp
