Media Bio
Lauren Karp is a Nashville-based photographer and visual artist whose work bridges fine art, large-scale public installation, and architectural environments. She is the creator of Imaginature™ and Imaginature in Motion® — processes that transform source photography of landscapes, botanicals, wildlife, and cityscapes into layered abstract compositions and immersive digital works.
Karp was commissioned to produce 24 original pieces for the new JFK International Airport Terminal 6, including two expansive murals in the TSA and CBP corridors — her largest public art commission to date. Her work is permanently installed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has appeared in environments for J.P. Morgan, Boston Children’s Hospital, Hilton, and Tennessee Oncology, among others. Her art is licensed through LG Gallery+ and Loupe Art, and has reached audiences across Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, and connected television platforms worldwide.
